NEIMUN 2017 APPLICATION PROCESS 

**Delegates/Delegations have to submit the online form before the deadlines. Successful candidates will be informed within 12 days and delegates have to pay full payment to confirm admission.
** For Individual applicants, please make sure there is no group delegation enrolled from your School/College before you submit your individual applications.
** Note that application may close after the first round of application if the 400 available vacancies are filled.
** Please read eligibility section and fee structure before filling up this form.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Class 10 - Recent Graduates/Postgraduates; 16-26 years of age. [ Recent Graduates/Post Graduates:Completed Graduation or Master's degree in the last one and half years can apply.] [ The committees will be divided into High School and University Level]
2. Open to all Nationals.
3. Willingness to make a difference for the community.
4. Interest in learning more about the United Nations, multilateral diplomacy, International Relations, geopolitics, conflict resolution, International Organisations and Social Issues.
5. Interest in networking with students from different schools and colleges, cultures, states and nationalities.
6. Interest in acquiring, harnessing and polishing skills such as lobbying, negotiations, debating, public speaking, team building and leadership.

FEE STRUCTURE

APPLYING AS AN INDIVIDUAL DELEGATE

Priority applications- Opening Dates: 01.09.17- Closing Dates: 30.09.17

*This does not include travel to Dimapur, Nagaland.
*The rooms will be on first-come, first-served basis.
*NEIMUN 2017 conference will be fully residential. Delegates have to pay full payment to confirm admission.

Regular Applications- Opening Dates: 01.10.17 - Closing Dates: 15.11.17

APPLYING AS A DELEGATION SCHOOL/COLLEGE

A delegation should consist a minimum of 6 delegates.
The delegations registered shall be eligible for a ‘Delegation Certificate’ entitled to the school/college and eligible as a nomination to win the ‘Best Delegation Award’.
Together with the individual delegate fee mentioned above, the school/college/club has to pay the delegation fee.
It is mandatory for School Delegations to be accompanied be one Faculty Advisor.
Faculty Advisors for College Delegations are welcome to accompany the delegation and observe the conference proceedings.
 A maximum of two FA is allowed subject to payment.
Delegation fee: INR 1500 / $23 (with one Faculty Advisor)
 
The fee is inclusive of the Faculty Advisor:

• Delegate fee (Inclusive of all training materials, delegate kit, entry to all committee sessions, workshops and social events – 1500)

 
*This does not include accommodation, meal and travel to Dimapur, Nagaland. The Faculty Advisor has to pay for meal and accommodation.
* INR 800/ $12 will be charged for additional Faculty Advisor.
 
PLEASE NOTE:
NEIMUN Applications team will send an email once delegates are selected with the necessary bank details for payment of fees, NEIMUN preparation guide, and travel and accommodation plans.
