Deep Shankar Nath has served as an Ambassador to Kazakhstan, representing India at the Youth Exchange Programme Kazakhstan in 2018. His oratory skills have been recognized by the Governor of Meghalaya, who acknowledged him as a promising speaker of the state for two consecutive years, in 2017 and 2018.
In addition, Deep has held various significant positions, including Secretary General of the largest MUN club in the region, SACMUN. He has been a part of the NEIMUN team since 2018 as a Secretariat, Secretary General and, currently, as a member of the Executive Board. Through these engagements, he has nurtured the growth of MUN clubs in the Shillong circuit, imparting knowledge about the United Nations to students and encouraging their participation in critical debates on global issues. His project on "Top inspiring ideas of India for marginal workers" has garnered recognition from UNICEF. Moreover, he has been actively involved in mentoring young minds, teaching the art of debating to school-going children and his college juniors.
