A Model United Nations Conference is not only an academic simulation where delegates learn about a specific country, or about a specific agenda alone; it is an experience where every person builds their own network; it is an opportunity to embrace ones negotiating and diplomatic skills. Every participant, in whichever position, always has a new and unique story to share at the end of the conference, for every MUN is a different experience. We, at NEIMUN, want to make an effort to bring about inspiring stories of our participants sharing with the world how an MUN conference has brought about a change in them, or in the environment around them. Ever since we had embarked on this journey, starting in 2013, we had an objective to teach and spread the culture of Model United Nations throughout North East India, where this culture isn’t as prevalent as in other parts. We believed we have touched a lot of lives over the years, and inspired and motivated people, empowering many, reaching out to a considerable crowd even in the remote areas of the North East. We present to you Humans of NEIMUN as a platform to share NEIMUN stories and highlights of people who have been with us, sharing their views and experiences.
