L. Limaienla Aier L. Limaienla Aier has completed her Masters in Science with Honours in Botany specialized on the subject of Ecology and Biodiversity Studies, from Nagaland University. She participated at Kohima in NEIMUN 2013, receiving the Best Delegate Diplomacy Award, at Shillong in NEIMUN 2014 presiding as President of the General Assembly, and also represented NEIMUN as the ambassador at Guwahati in NEIMUN 2015. She is working as a Faculty member in Asian Mission Institute, Dimapur which is affiliated under Vishwakarma Open University New Delhi. She holds a project work under SAP Nagaland University Fellowship Program. She has bagged many awards in State and National levels since school days. She was amongst the toppers in HSLC under Nagaland Board of School Education. She loves gardening and painting, discovering passion in politics. Her strong beliefs and ideologies has found their outlets in various state and national platforms for public speaking. She wants to do great things for the people of her country. Nabiha Tasnim Nabiha Tasnim is pursuing a Bachelors in Arts Degree under Delhi University with Majors in Sociology and Minors in Journalism. She began her MUN journey with North East India International Model United Nations 2013. Since then she has attended several national and international MUNs. She represented North East India at the Harvard Model United Nations 2014. She worked as a journalist as part of the International Press team at NEIMUN 2014. She held the position of the Deputy for Economic Affairs and Communication and Public Relations at NEIMUN 2015. Nabiha Tasnim was also the youngest Faculty Advisor at the Harvard MUN 2015. She was also a Global Citizen and co-chaired UNEP at STGMUN 2015. She was the Committee Director and Trainer for SOCHUM at TEDSMUN 2015. She was selected to represent India at the IBA Karachi MUN 2016 in Pakistan. She has been selected as an Ambassador for the Harvard Model United Nations India, 2016. Filzah Belal Filzah Belal is a second year law student in National Law University, Assam who has been attending MUNs since her 11th grade. She has attended many MUNs across the country, including many other public speaking events. Her greatest achievement has been her selection into participating in the prestigious UNIS-UN Annual Student Conference, 2013. Filzah is a stickler for hard work, and that combined with her lawyer-like composure makes her efficient at work. With that, she is also all set to start her mooting journey this year, which almost a very integral part of the journey of a law student. Filzah has been associated with NEIMUN since 2015 when she held the position of the Deputy of Political Affairs, and this year she is heading the same department as its USG. Ungshungmi Rungsung Ungshungmi Rungsung is a student of Computer Science and Mathematics. Besides being deeply passionate about philosophy, he is also an avid blogger. He was part of the winning team in the presentation on Entrepreneurship in NE India organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce in 2014. He loves working with today's youth, to contribute towards the wellbeing of the North Eastern states, especially in the field of education. Dzüvinguno Dorothy Chasie is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in English Literature at Nagaland University, Kohima Campus. Her journey with NEIMUN started in 2013 as a college student from St. Joseph's, Jakhama. During her Undergraduate, she was the President of the College Women’s Forum. She also Completed A Study of Women’s Civic Leadership at the United States Institute, University of Kansas in Lawrence (USA). Being devoted to the endeavor of NEIMUN, she is a firm believer in the importance of understanding international politics, building leadership qualities and public speaking skills among the youth. DEPUTY FOR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS
Kahaan Mehta Kahaan Mehta is a student at the Royal Shool of Business, Guwahati, in the first year of his Bachelor's in Business Adminitration. Particular interests in Law, International Relations and both domestic and foreign politics has resulted in passionate interest in United Nations Organisation. Ever since 2014, when he attended his first MUN in the Doon School, he has been active in the Guwahati circuit of MUNs. His strong beliefs and ideologies as found their outlets in various state and national platforms for public speaking and writing. His fervour for Law encourgaed him to undergo a certificate course from the Harvard Law School. Having chosen Jurisprudence as his subject, he managed to score 92.6% in the same. This is his third year of association with NEIMUN and will be serving the organisation as the Deputy for General Assembly Affairs. In the previous two editions of NEIMUN, he has served as a delegate, Chair, Ambassador and a member of the International Press. He has particular interest in playing the piano, reading and "watching" tennis matches. |

Ramachan A Shimray Ramachan A Shimray is pursuing Master of Social Work at Assam Don Bosco University. He began his journey with Model UN through North East India International Model United Nations 2015. Since then, he has been deeply compassionate about Model UN. He has been giving free tuitions to local children in Assam, besides volunteering to help out flood victims. Through his blogs, he often provides a crucial insight into contemporary social issues. Besides writing for magazines and local newspapers, he has participated in the International Service Learning, Philippines and the International Conference on Cost Consciousness, Sustainability, Governance and Development at Gaeddu College of Business Studies, Royal University of Bhutan. Last but most importantly, he is an adventurous person, always seeking ways to find out the mysteries of nature. |

Bendangrenla S Longkumer has a Master's degree in English Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University and completed her undergraduate from St. Stephens College, University of Delhi in English. She has been with NEIMUN for a year as part of the International Press team and now and is heads over heels in love with it. An avid reader, who loves the frequent cups of chai and coffee, she blogs sporadically, and loves trying her hand at creative writing. She loves NEIMUN for all that it stands for and believes firmly in the power of today's youth to change the world. She is a calm person who gels well with most Hu-MUNS.
